Weekly yoga classes are offered in two locations in Minneapolis and in Hastings, Minnesota. 

There are a variety of day and evening times and levels to choose from.  Read the descriptions below or call to discuss the class that fits best for you.  Then simply register for that class by calling 651-480-2529.  Start a yoga practice now - you do not need to wait for a new session to begin!

 

Weekly classes in 2008 run in 8 week series.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

OPEN: Study of alignment, sequencing of poses & breath awareness enhances physical strength and fexibility . Open to all levels. 

OPEN II:   builds on the postures and principals, including more advanced practice sequences.  Previous experience and permission of instrtuctor required.

GENTLE: Movement for maturing bodies, those recovering from an injury or who want a gentle practice. All levels welcome.

EXPERIENCED: Understanding of yoga deepens, use of challenging poses & sequences, at-home practice. Experienced students.

PHOENIX RISING YOGA THERAPY: 90 minute private session of bodywork for clarity and personal transformation.

PRIVATE: Individual instructions address personal needs & modifications, or designs a daily practice.

CLASS LOCATIONS:

EDINA: Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Room 220, 4801 France Ave So, Minneapolis

MPLS:  Minneapolis Academy at Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church,  50th St at 31st Avenue, Enter door facing 50th St, Minneapolis 

HASTINGS:  From the Heart Center,  115 - 5th St East, Hastings.

PRACTICE GUIDELINES:

 

 

Refrain from eating at least 2 hours prior to class. Wear loose-fitting, layered clothing and remove shoes.  Yoga is practiced in bare feet.  Omit perfumes or scents.  Please arrive on time to class. Turn off cell phones and pagers. Prepare yourself and your space for practice.
